Today, InnoRoute proudly presented its first lap demonstrator in conjunction with the YouQos project funded by the German Ministry of Research and Education under the mark 16BP1210.
In project YouQoS, a new concept for the quality of service improvement will be designed, evaluated with respect to different criteria and implemented prototypically. According to this concept, each end user influences the desired prioritization of the data flows of different applications himself. This is required due to the unsatisfactory data rate of the network access in many areas, which is not sufficient for modern Internet applications.
The network of the Internet service provider will be enhanced by functional elements which make it possible to classify and prioritize data flows towards the end user according to the wishes of the end user and to increase significantly the quality of service for the user.
